Opus signinum was first used in ancient Roman times, when it was used to clad countless places (thermal baths, tanks, perimeter walls) and is simply a mixture of broken-up terracotta objects – like amphorae -, lime and sand.

It is ideal to decorate indoor walls because it can be used in all possible colours, above all neutral and pastel ones, resulting in an old-style country elegance.

Our natural vintage-style plasters come in both neutral or colour shades obtained through ancient techniques, and can be customised to the taste of those who choose them to dress their home.
